UNODC in Maldives held a brief ceremony to hand over network equipment to the Maldives Correctional Service including, switches, racks, screens, storage drivers and fibre cables to improve prisoners’ contact with the outside world. The equipment is being set up in Maafushi prison to improve its overall network capability to conduct remote family visits or court-related interactions.
